Define & Refine
I began this project with an extensive questionnaire to better understand the client’s vision and goals. This covered everything from visuals to systems currently in place and systems they would like to have in place. From there I could define the companies values and overall mood. The product is high-end yet approachable and the brand is focused on everyday self-care and health.
During this exploration phase I also defined the general direction of displays for their retail store to ensure the experience would be consistent across all platforms and locations.
Visual Identity
The mood was defined as natural yet modern. The colors and lines needed to be organic without feeling crafty or homemade. Custom illustrated icons were paired with a color from the palette to define how each scent would be conveyed in all mediums.

Information Architecture
Before we could begin packaging all label sizes, bottle sizes and products needed to be confirmed. I worked with the team to create a master product listing that included details for every product in every available size. This immediately increased the intellectual property of the company. Additionally it assisted them in organizing and streamlining their production. With every product categorized and defined the groundwork was laid for all packaging as well as website organization. Long-term this given a better understanding of product performance by having more detailed information on each SKU and size.
